Our mission is to make our communities brighter
At Five Star Credit Union, we want to have an impact beyond our core function of providing financial services. We established a private charitable foundation in 2020 to provide funding for educational and training programs for young people and for worthy organizations that move our communities forward.
25 Students future is brighter with grants
The Five Star Credit Union Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization established and funded by Five Star Credit Union.
The foundation has given $80,000 in scholarship funds the past two years. Those grants are given in $10,000 increments to schools in Alabama and Georgia. Wallace Community College in Dothan, Wallace Community College in Eufaula, Southern Regional Technical College in Bainbridge, Enterprise State Community College in Enterprise, and College of Coastal Georgia.
